You've been waiting for it! We got your #TipTuesday Fall (that season knocking on your door) is a great time to thicken up patchy areas of your lawn. Howdy neighbors. #DidYouKnow that during the 1700s there were no markets containing fresh produce?! Without the luxury of corner stores, American colonists relied on productive home gardens as a means for survival. Small, personal, and enclosed gardens located right outside the front door were dedicated to essential edibles and culinary and medicinal herbs.

Happy yet-another #TipTuesday!! Do you have Eastern US acid-loving plants -- pH level of 5.5 to 6.5 -- such as hydrangeas, azaleas, rhododendrons, camellias, heathers, gardenias and even blueberries? Use leftover tea and coffee grounds to acidify the soil. Sprinkle the grounds among the plants; about one-quarter of an inch onto the soil once a month should do the trick. The grounds will keep the pH of the soil on the acidic side.... Visit more here: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com//s/acid-loving-plants.htm

Oh snap it's #TipTuesday! #DidYouKnow you can prevent dirt from getting under your fingernails when you're all up in your garden? All you have to do is draaaggg your fingernails across a soap bar before gardening to seal the underneath of your nails. When you're done with the mud, just take a tweezer (or shower) to scrape out the soap from your nails and *BOOM*, clean fingernails!
