It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Society. We are now selling collectible Santa figurines and ornaments made by June McKenna in our gift shop. They are sure to make a great Christmas gift!
In recognition of Thanksgiving, the Lebanon County Historical Society will be closed Thursday November, 26 through Monday November, 30. We apologize for any inconvenience. We wish you a safe and happy holiday.
With Thanksgiving being tomorrow, we here at the Lebanon County Historical Society want to take a moment to reflect on all that we have to be thankful for. We are thankful to all of our donors, members, visitors, volunteers, and everyone who has supported us this year, especially during the pandemic. Thank You! Being an organization that seeks to preserve the past, we also want to recognize that all that we have to be thankful for was made possible by the countless people who... have come before us. We are all connected by history and bear responsibility for what has been entrusted to us by our ancestors. We encourage you to join us this Thanksgiving season in reflecting on that trust and connection that binds us together, even if COVID keeps us apart. To jumpstart this reflection, please consider making an appointment to take a guided tour of the Stoy Museum or conduct research at the Hauck Research Archives by calling (717) 272-1473 or emailing our office at [email protected]. Have a blessed and safe holiday!
This was just donated to the Society yesterday. Historically significant, currently relevant. We are open to the public to delve into our archival holdings or tour the museum. We just ask that you please contact us a few days in advance to schedule a time. Email [email protected] or call 717-272-1473.
