There have been many Supreme Court decisions that go against the Word of GOD, THE FOUNDATION OF AMERICA . America was founded by bible-believing Christians ...and based on Christian principles. When they founded this country, the Founding Fathers envisioned a government that would promote and encourage Christianity. All but two of the first 108 universities founded in America were Christian. This includes the first, Harvard, where the student handbook listed this as Rule #2:" Let every Student be plainly instructed, and earnestly pressed to consider well, the main end of his life and studies is, to know God and Jesus Christ which is eternal! life, John 17:3 and therefore to lay Christ in the bottom, as the only foundation of all sound knowledge and Learning. And seeing the Lord only giveth wisdom, Let every one seriously set himself by prayer in secret to seek it of him Prov. 2, 3. " In 1777. Continental Congress voted to purchase bibles which were to be distributed throughout the 13 colonies! And in 1782, the United States Congress declared, The Congress of the United States recommends and approves the Holy Bible for use in all schools." So where oh where did we go wrong??? ON March 6, 1857 the Supreme court decided that skin color was a determining factor in slavery. Dred Scott could not be a free man. A disgusting ruling standing against Acts 17:26 "And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, ...." June 25, 1962 , another landmark case to remove prayer from schools.1 Thessalonians 5:16 "Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." June 17, 1963 this case stopped organized Bible reading in public schools in the United States. GOD's WORD says to read it. Matthew 4:4 "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" On January 22, 1973 this ruling , a decision that killed millions of babies in the United States . WHY oh why do we continue to destroy precious life...Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not murder. Now on June 26th , we endorse another sin . Homosexuality . GOD created man. GOD created marriage . So marriage is just that, one man , one woman. THAT is it . Matthew 19:4 And He answered and said to them, Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female, 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.
