Data suggests it will take until 2152 to close the gender wage gap, but it shouldn’t take a century to get what we want. #WeWantMore because 135 years is too long to wait for what we deserve today. #R29Dialogue

Today is Equal Pay Day. On average, women are paid just under 80% of what men are paid, but this statistic is not the same across the board. Not only are Latina, African American, Native American, and Native Hawaiian women paid less less than white women, but the pay gap varies based on location, as well (Women in Wyoming are only paid 64% of what their male counterparts make!) This Equal Pay Day, raise awareness about pay inequality and the wage gap. We can't expect change if we don't start the conversation!
