Continuing Education time is here. This year's class is named Beyond The Stucco, this is really something special. I have taken all the exterior cladding components we deal with in the Northeast & combined them into one presentation. Beyond The Stucco will cover all the basics of stucco inspection & invasive testing procedures. In addition, we will be discussing full-dimension stone, stone veneer, brick, cement board & vinyl siding systems. Invasive inspection procedures will... be discussed along with window installation, flashing details for each system and anything relating to water management on the exterior of a home. Stucco & exterior systems such as stone veneer & full dimension stone are all designed to keep our homes warm & dry. Understanding the process on how to educate your buyers & sellers is key to negotiating a successful transaction, knowledge is power. The Bucks County Herald is announcing its plan to host two home remediation forums for building trade and consumers to address the growing home stucco and sid...ing problems that have surfaced in Bucks County over the past 20 to 25 years. The two events, titled The Greater Philadelphia Stucco Remediation Forums, will take place on March 18 according to the Herald’s publisher, Joe Wingert, and will serve as a possible pilot initiative for addressing this growing problem throughout the greater Philadelphia region.
