Mahaffey is holding a "Firemen's Apparatus Show" at our ball park on August 13th. Sign up is from 3-5pm and judging is from 6-9pm. Categories include: Engine, Rescue, Tanker, Aerial, Brush/Utility, Ambulance/QRS. There is a firework display to follow. This is being held during our Mahaffey Day's celebration so there is food and drink vendors and music on site. Mahaffey Fire Department will be holding a hot roast beef sandwich dinner Sunday from 12-3pm. Cost is $8.00 and the meal includes a hot roast beef sandwich, mashed potatoes and gravey, green beans, dessert and a drink. Carry out or eat in. You can call the hall at 814-277-6639.

Mahaffey Fire Dept. Gun Bash tickets for Saturday, June 11th, 2016 are being sold now!!! $10.00 donation for a chance on each gun listed on the ticket plus admission for the evening, and all you can eat and drink! Doors open at 4pm and buffet meal starts at 4:30pm! Basket Auction, RIP tickets, and many other raffles throughout the night! Need not be present to win any of the prizes listed on the ticket! Mixed drinks will also be available! Support your local fire department and also have a great time! Buy your ticket early because there are only 1200 sold. Tickets not garaunteed at the door and seating is limited. Must show ticket stub and I.D. at door. Stop by Mahaffey Hardware & Supply (113 East Main Street Mahaffey 15757) they will have tickets on sale or see any of the department members.

The Community Volunteer Fire Department mourns the loss of lifetime-active member, Dave McKee. Dave has dedicated much of his time to the department from the start and always made sure he continued to do so. The department would like to extend its most sincere condolences to Dave McKee's family and friends. Rest easy, Dave.

March 26th the Mahaffey Fire Co. will hold an end of winter BBQ. Starting at 11 untill we sell out. Cost is $9 for a dinner. 1/2 chicken, baked potato, roll and apple sauce. 1/2 chicken only $6. Eat in out take out.

The Mahaffey Fire Department is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Benefit Sunday March 19th. The dinner will be from 12:30, until we sell out. The Dinners will include... Spaghetti & meatballs, salad, rolls, dessert, and a drink. TAKEOUT WILL BE AVAILABLE. There will also be a Basket Raffle, we've had a lot of great donations so far. ALL THE PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE THANE LUCAS FAMILY. We will not be doing tickets, you will just pay at the door. It's going to be $7.00 for Adults, $4.00 for Children 6-11, and Children under 5 are free. We are in need of donations for baskets and desserts.
