This past year has been exceptionally difficult for all of us. This weekend we celebrated our holiday party at the salon. We ordered Dianoias, ate at our stations, wore our masks and played a game that had us literally rolling on the floor and laughing so hard our cheeks hurt. I’m fortunate to have had a night like that with my team, especially before our 3 year anniversary. This year wasn’t usual for an entrepreneur. My business was shut down, my team lost their jobs and ...I spent our savings faster than I ever imagined. My fire for growth was put out. I was forced to pivot while I tried to stay strong in a time of uncertainty. This team showed up for me this year and I wouldn’t be where we are today without them. Each year as a business owner I learn more about who I am, who I want to be and where I want to go. My dreams are bigger than they’ve ever been, my confidence has been built on the lows I fought through and my fire has never burned brighter. Maniküre has always asked for at least 24 hours notice when cancelling and/or rescheduling an appointment. We understand that these are trying times and emergencies can arise. Most of our clients respect our policy, but as we are growing we've had incresed issues with clients failing to honor it. As a result, we have made the following policy changes. Cancellations under 24 hours, including no-shows, will be charged 100% of total services cancelled. If you are 15+ minutes l...ate for your appointment, you will have to reschedule or only recieve partial services that day. Cancellation fees may apply. We will continue to send out email and text reminders prior to your scheduled appointment. Please remember it is your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and cancellation fees. ONGOING EDUCATION In this industry education is crucial when it comes to both your employee & salon growth.We schedule our mandatory, paid trainings (we call them nail parties) on Wednesday mornings from 10-1 every 8 weeks. Sometimes we learn new skills and techniques, experiment with products or practice nail art. This past week we focused on holiday nail art to prep us for the next couple of months! We also get to talk to about what is working vs what’s not working in the ...salon. We are always so busy, it’s nice to stop things for a few hours and focus on the foundation. So, you can see plaid and embossed sweater nails are what we worked on this week. I love seeing everyone putting their own twist on the designs.
