Whether it’s through prayer, saying them out loud, or writing them down, beginning the day with gratitude and a thankful heart is a truly great way to start

Now, possibly more than ever, we all need to stand guard at the gates of our minds. We are what we eat, and the same principle applies in relation to our minds and the information we consume. Let’s be aware of what is going on, but not be consumed and paralyzed with it. To take control of our lives, we must pay no attention to fear mongering and be discerning, not take what we are told as fact without question. ... What we focus on tends to become our reality. Let’s focus on the good we can do, who we can help, and the love we can spread. Let’s not focus on fear, negativity, arguments, how our opinion is right and others’ are wrong, etc. Our perception of reality is our lens that we see the world through. All of us have varying perceptions based on information and life experiences. Knowing this, perception can also be manipulated because information can change our view of the world or world events. And information can be presented in a manner to make us feel a specific way. After understanding this, one of the best ways to improve our lives is to stop watching tv, specifically the news. Without something else trying to shape our world view, we are then able to process information, compare it, analyze it, and make up our own mind about it instead of being told what to think. This is just one small thing we can do to start improving ourselves. And when we improve ourselves, we improve our impact we have on the world. Have a wonderful week everyone! I hope we can all keep making steps toward becoming the best versions of ourselves
