Have you heard of "Shiny Object Syndrome?" That's where you start something good.. then, before you finish it, you get distracted by the 'exciting, new thing,' that you just discovered... so you jump ship to the new idea without ever finishing the first one. If its a great idea, stay the course.. If its a bad idea... put the time in & figure out why it doesn't work & either fix it.. or keep those eyes open for a better opportunity.

On the weekends, I know I've got more time to cook something with a few more steps, but I'm going to be honest.. sometimes I just don't feel like it. That's when the crockpot comes in. Now if you've never used a crockpot, or if you don't have one.. I'm telling you, it might be worth picking one up on a post-holiday sale. There's nothing like throwing food in there in the morning and coming back to a meal that's totally ready to eat. ... That being said, give this one a try. Milla Jovovich was a model who wanted to break into acting.. That's a story that we're all pretty familiar with. You see models trying to do that all the time. But normally, you see them trying to get into 'softer' films like romantic comedies or dramas.. Not Milla Jovovich. She decided to go a completely different route. She was always thin, but she decided to focus on getting strong, building muscle, & getting in fighting shape with martial arts so she could become a kick butt action star, most notably in the Resident Evil franchise. Gotta respect another Hollywood star who spends their time on the mats, just like us.

You ready to Netflix and... squat? Let's be honest.. we're all binge watching something right now. If it's not The Queen's Gambit or The Ripper, then maybe you're a fan of the Crown or even Virgin River.. don't worry, I won't tell. Sitting on the couch for hours on end can leave your legs tight, your back sore, & your body all out of whack. EVERYBODY can benefit from a little extra movement & physical activity especially in the winter months. So, let's start TODAY with t...he Netflix & Squat challenge! Do 20 squats for every episode you watch. Everytime Netflix starts that 3 second countdown, jump up & do 20.. AND, as a bonus, if Netflix asks you "Are you still watching ....?" Netflix is really asking you do to an extra 10 squats! Hop up & knock those babies out. YOU CAN DO THIS.. It's only Monday - Friday, but that's enough to get your blood pumping & add some fun movement to your binge watching schedule.. Most people have done at LEAST one squat in their life before, so this is a great challenge for just about everybody. What if I can't do 20 squats..? No worries.. you've got options Take mini breaks after every 5 squats.. Break them up throughout the episode.. Hold on to a chair if you need to for added balance & support.. Just get started and commit to something.. Make a commitment to yourself for JUST 5 days & check in when you're done, HERE ON THIS POST every day!
