This is a picture of me and my mom. I miss her a lot today. She gave me the foundation for persistence, hard work and love for family. The day this image was taken, we were waiting to go have her MRI done and then found out she had brain cancer. ... I am glad that I was able to spend a lot of time with her over the remainder of her life and am grateful for everything she did for me to help me be who I am.
