We are out at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort with the Center for Victims who are gearing up for their annual Golf and Shooting Clays event in August.

On June 3, 2017, Patricia McGrail spoke at a conference presented by the Food & Water Watch at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. The conference - Fracking in Your Local Community: Your Rights and Municipal Responsibilities - was attended by local government officials in Allegheny County, interested community members and representatives from organizations that provide information and guidance to municipalities and landowners with regard to drilling throughout southwester...n Pennsylvania. Mrs. McGrail appeared on a panel with John Smith, Esquire and George Jugovic, Esquire and presented an update of appellate cases pending in Pennsylvania courts with regard to this industry. In particular, she spoke on the response of local governments to the decisions of the Commonwealth and Supreme courts on these issues, and provided guidance with regard to the adoption of ordinances governing oil and gas activities in municipalities. The conference also addressed public health concerns and municipal planning. We have attached an article regarding shale gas wells in Western Pennsylvania.
