I have been trained to use the core muscles to do what they should during breath. Your core muscles should lengthen and shorten at different times of respiration.

I am not a big social media person my online presence is to study the human body. My most recent endeavor has been gait. I started studying it about 3 plus years ago. It is super complicated but deserves our attention. Did you know that if you have an injury your body will protect and avoid the injured area. I recently saw this in session and encouraged this client to use the affected limb. All of a sudden the pain is 90 percent better and with continued movement practice i...t has completely decreased. If you want to run you better get your gait in walking following the proper mechanics. As running is loaded gait. Start with your biomechanics of walking gait. I see all these recommendations of do this strike or this when you are running, wear stability shoes. Please do not listen to this advice. Proper mechanics of walking is the proper mechanics of loaded gait, running. Also if you are wearing a stability shoe you are wearing a cast and preventing your foot from being able to pronate and supinate correctly. As a body worker I have all the tools and the knowledge from my movement practice as well to help you understand and rebalance your gait! See more

I got to help a client online yesterday. Working virtually I taught this client how to take care of what was bothering her. It is really about educating the client and I have so much information to share. I am also constantly learning and that has not stopped! Can't wait for my physiology class today!

Today's class was awesome! We assessed our eyes and made some corrections! Then we did hip movement assessment. Threw some jaw stuff in with it as well as some big toe stuff. Amazing how those affect the pelvis. Finished it off talking about the breath and a new exercise to help strengthen those exhalation muscles!
