Last night we met for our November meeting and we were all in our feels talking about gratitude and thankfulness! Today, we are grateful for each other, our community and our ability to be present together! The power found within the community of our support group can be the difference between:... - Loneliness & isolation vs connection & relationships - Feeling defeated vs feeling empowered - Feeling overwhelmed vs open discussions to help cope with challenges of motherhood - Feeling judged by others vs being surrounded by other compassionate, nonjudgmental mothers. We are proud to announce that Mentor A Mother has shifted from a mentoring program to a full support group to empower the young mothers of our community in a safe, supporting environment. To better serve our community, our age group now encompasses young mothers up to 25 years old.
