Considering classroom size, drop-off/pick-up areas, common bathrooms, and the cafeteria, we wanted to make it easy for students at Delaware Valley Friends School to follow CDC guidelines in our collective effort to return to normal.

Pictured here, we are assessing occupancy parameters, areas of interaction, flow, and movement. Our work preparing schools for COVID re-occupancy includes conversations with faculty and staff to understand the operational realities faced by each individual organization.

We wanted to take this time to congratulate our friends at DVFS for completing their first day back to school. We hope that despite everything we are facing, our efforts assisting with classroom layouts & social spaces helped you feel like you are back to normal.

Metcalfe is exploring ways of adapting engaging elements normally found in communal spaces for use at the patient's bedside.
