Happy Hanukkah As Hanukkah begins at sundown today, we are wishing you peace throughout the holiday and New Year.

With your support, Metropolitan is able to stay open and active, a beacon of hope, creativity, and light for aspiring young dancers and the professional artists who lead them. As we persevere through the winter, we're asking you to stick with us: A second wind is needed to get us through. We hope to keep our Company members training, Boys' Scholarship students dancing, and stay connected, via Zoom, with our Kinetic Literacy elementary school students. We plan to emerge even s...tronger with exciting new choreography and visiting Alumni guest stars for our 25th Anniversary Season. We know we can do it, with your help! This week, Lupe Serrano is celebrating her 90th birthday. Lupe was teacher/mentor to both Ms. Collins and Ms. D'Angelo while apprentices with the Pennsylvania Ballet. Her beautiful presence was felt in the classical variations she taught, along with the lovely classes of technique. She taught us life lessons that we continue to teach with our own students as well. Bravo Lupe! We love you and celebrate you for all you have done for us!
