Midd-West School District 18.11.2020

Reminder to all 7th and 8th grade boys basketball players, the first practice will be on Monday, December 7th from 3:15-5:30 pm in the Middleburg Elementary gym. All participants need a current physical form or recertification form completed to be eligible to participate. Masks will be required at all times. Midd-West High School’s Young American for November is Allie Keister. She is the daughter of Rod and Tonya Keister of Middleburg. Allie serves as Senior Class Treasurer and Captain of Cheer. She is involved in Cheerleading and DECA. Allie is the first Midd-West student to serve as a DECA State Representative in the role of Vice President of Membership Development. She has been chosen as a UCA All American Cheerleader and Student of the month in 10th and 11th grade. Allie is a... member of the National Honor Society and has been on the Distinguished Honor Roll throughout her high school career. She has given back to her community by being involved in Community Service projects at Paxtonville United Methodist Church. After graduation, Allie is planning to attend Susquehanna University and major in Early Childhood Education. She believes she was selected as a Young American because she is always willing to help others and strives to be the best that she can be. In the activities that she is involved in, she steps up as a leader. Allie would like others to know that she is a positive person and will always find the best in any situation. See more

Midd-West School District 28.10.2020

Due to the current distance learning model the High School is following, it will be necessary to push back the distribution of interim reports to provide the teachers the time necessary to enter make up assignments. Therefore, rather than interim reports being distributed on 12/7/2020, they will be distributed on 12/15/2020.

The 12th grade Student of the Month for October is Alanna Keister. She is the daughter of Chad and Lori Keister of Middleburg. Alanna has been chosen as Student of the Month because she is challenging herself with rigorous courses during her senior year including several AP courses while demonstrating a consistent work ethic. She is a respectful and personable student. In school, Alanna plays Girls Soccer and Softball. She is a member of the National Honor Society. Alanna enjoys painting, hunting, going to Youth Group, and hanging out with her friends. After graduation, Alanna plans to attend Messiah University to major in Nursing
