Starting today, we are now open to the public Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. for in-person services including browsing, holds pickup, ...computer use, printing, and copying. Here are a few things to know before your visit: Masks covering nose and mouth are required and patrons must maintain a distance of six feet from staff and other patrons. There is reduced building capacity (maximum 12 patrons inside at a time.) If building capacity is reached patrons will be asked to wait outside until space is available. Visits and computer sessions are limited to 30 minutes per day. Due to social distancing guidelines library staff may not be able to provide assistance to patrons using computers. Hand sanitizer is located at the entrance and, along with alcohol wipes, at several service points throughout the library. All returns must be deposited in the book drop. Clear barriers have been installed around staff desks. Patrons should still keep a distance of six feet when possible. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. We know this new library experience will feel very different and we truly appreciate your patience and cooperation as we create a safe environment for everyone. We are excited to welcome you back! We distributed over 1000 books for babies through teens in 6 languages, tote bags of literacy materials and activities, snacks, chalk for creating sidewalk art, and a park tree scavenger hunt! We so appreciate all our volunteers, partners, funders, book suppliers, school staff, and most of all our neighborhood full of young readers and their families! Thanks to y’all we were able to raise another $850 for a second round of Free School Supplies. We’ll be at @mifflinsquarepark giving out supplies this Thursday, October 8 from 5-6pm, or while supplies last. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing!

Fall Fridays are back! Join Seamaac, Inc. for pumpkin painting this week 3-6:30p in the park. In the coming weeks they'll have soccer, dance, hula hooping, and a costume contest! Masks required and physical distancing observed.
