I despise the Senate Republican tax plan, but this Paul Krugman "criticism" of the analysis shows his mercantilist leanings (just read the comments as his partisan lapdogs eat up his rhetoric). He gets it right to say that current+financial account=0, but he advertises a higher trade deficit as a bad thing (when a trade deficit not trade surplus are inherently good or bad).
