Daylily is a very popular ornamental, prized by gardeners for its hardiness and versatility. This invasive perennial spreads easily to form dense patches that d...isplace native plants, upsetting an area’s biodiversity https://bit.ly/2SjRoqa. A native alternative is the blackeyed susan, which has beautiful blooms during a similar time of the year. They also provide food to helpful pollinators! #iConservePA #PANativePlants

These salts can turn our freshwater salty, and are harmful to wildlife like... fish, birds, salamanders, and frogs. We can protect our wildlife while also staying safe this winter by using less road salt! Take the pledge now to be #WinterSaltSmart: https://bit.ly/2PLIPCg See more
