The Montour County Agricultural Land Preservation Board purchased its first agricultural conservation easement since 2009. This program purchases developing rights from the owner, allowing them to pursue farming and ensures that the land will continue to be used for agricultural purposes no matter who owns it in the future. The preserved farm is located in Limestone Township and is bordered by two other easements. Pictured below is Chairman, Tyler Dombroski (left) and landowner, Herb Zeager (right).
