A good connection to our message yesterday...

I’ve shared the prayer below to help us keep in mind that we are to approach God as His child: Father, Thank you for the privilege of being called your child. I can come to you confident of that fact because John 1:12 says Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God . But I confess I often don’t come to You as your child or even understand what it means to be your child. Help me today to come to you as a... little child comes to their father, wanting You more than something from You. Show me more of who You are and let me imitate that and make it part of who I am. Help me to run to You first when I’m lonely, or scared, or losing hope knowing that You are waiting with strong arms to lift me up and hold me in your warm embrace. Send me back out resting in the confidence and peace of who You are. Help me to know that I am a child and therefore can’t understand everything You do, but I can trust that you are doing what is best for me. Help me to take up the family business of bringing more children to You. In Jesus Name Amen See more
