Lots of birds, bugs, buds and blooms around. Watching things come to life in the Spring is one of my favorite things.

I've been working on various table-top still life shots this week just for fun. I'd be curious to know which ones you like best. All shot using natural window light and a reflector for fill light.

Sampling of pics from last Saturday. Melissa and I went to the Simone Museum in Philly for LeMans Demo Day, Part III. Featuring a tech talk, history and running... of sports cars from the mid-1960's to early 1970's, as top competition moved from sports car to prototypes. If you have some motor oil running in your blood, this place is definitely worth a visit...the collection is incredible! Flowers are one of my favorite things. They catch light unlike anything else. I find their details beautiful and amazing. Kinda like warm weather snowflakes, no two are exactly alike.

Fleetwood Cadillacs at Oley Jazz Festival. Auditoriums offer tricky lighting situations, but I'm happy with the results for shooting from the audience.

Water to ice can be an amazing transition. Might as well enjoy winter and capture some of Mother Nature's handy work.
