Legislators joined NAIFA North East members to chat about current issues this morning. Thanks to Congressman Fred Keller and State Reps. Mike Carroll, Aaron Kaufer, Kyle Mullins and Bridget Kosierowski for joining in. Also, thanks to Frank Mazza of Sen. Toomey's office and Bob Morgan who represented Congressman Cartwright. Rep. Clemens is New NAIFA-Greater Harrisburg President Steve Clemens of URL Insurance Group was recently installed as President of NAIFA Greater-Harrisburg. He succeeds Craig Ritter of Ritter Insurance Marketing, who moves to Immediate Past President. In his remarks, Steve thanked Craig for a great year, even as COVID presented challenging circumstances. Steve urged all agents and advisors to join NAIFA, as the deep relationships that are forged, combined with improved skills and education and legislative advocacy make it well worthwhile. Rob Farabaugh Recognized for NAIFA Service, Retirement Rob Farabaugh, CLU, ChFC, LUTCF, MSFS, veteran Prudential agent and NAIFA stalwart was recognized by NAIFA-Greater Harrisburg this week for his many years of service to NAIFA and retirement from "the business." Rob served NAIFA in so many capacities over the years, as local association President (twice), a state and local board member, National Committeeman, IFAPAC and Grassroots volunteer and in almost any capacity that ...you can think of. Dave Edwards, below right, presented Rob (left) with a gift from the association. Dave said that Rob was extremely dedicated to his craft and building his knowledge base and added in jest that, "Rob had so many designations and letters after his name that PennDOT had to create a special license plate just for him."
