A HUGE thank you to the students at Keystone Oaks High School who held a fundraiser to benefit NAMI Keystone PA. Every dollar donated was matched by the student senate for a total of $2817.54. NKPA CEO Christine Michaels visited the school to accept the check from Student Senate President Vincent Pacak and Mrs. Lainey Resetar, student senate teacher sponsor. NAMI Family-to-Family Program Leaders are trained peers who support other family members who have loved ones living with a mental health condition. Leaders are family members, not mental health professionals, who will lead an 8-session educational program that provides information and strategies to better care for oneself and better support a loved one with a mental health diagnosis.
