Concerns for domestic violence victims during COVID-19. With the recommendation of social distancing and remaining in the home, victims of domestic violence become more isolated from the outside world. Since the quarantine in China, the reported incidents of domestic violence has risen. Quarantining and social distancing gives abusers more power to control their victims. Often victims get a reprieve or seek help when they are alone. With the new recommendations in place, th...ese opportunities are limited. Protections are still available. If you are in danger, call 911. Domestic Violence of Southwest Services still offers domestic violence counseling, shelter, support groups, transportation, food, personal care items and mental health counseling. If you are in need of help, call the 24-hour hotline at 1-800-791-4000. Protection from Abuse Orders (PFA) are essential functions of the Courts and are available.

Pursuant to Governor Wolf's Order of March 19, 2020 and the classification of Law Firms as 'non-life sustaining', please know that Neighborhood Attorney's office is closed effective March 20, 2020 and until further notice.
