Honoring loss through community service is a beautiful tradition within the Jewish community. Global Links is honored to have been a part of yesterday's Day of... Service: Remember, Reflect in Spirit and Action, put on by Repair The World Pittsburgh and 10.27 Healing Partnership. This day of service was centered around the 2-year mark of the 10/27/18 synagogue shooting that impacted the three congregations worshipping there: Congregation Dor Hadash, Tree Of Life - Or L'Simcha Congregation and New Light Congregation. Yesterday, this wonderful group sorted and prepared needles so as soon as a vaccine is ready, our region will be ready too. Turning pain into love and action. We thank you. See more
