As the 46th annual National EMS Week comes to an end. The crews at Northern EMS would like to take a minute and thank our management team for providing us with snacks and meals throughout the week. We would like to introduce you to the newest member of the Northern EMS family, 655-4! 655-4 made her arrival to our station earlier today and crews are working expeditiously to get her ready to serve the community. This 2021 Medix Type III, Ford E-350 is the 2nd rig purchase we made from Penn Care. ... Isn’t she a beaut?!

Today’s focus during EMS week is Save-a-life-Day (CPR and Stop the Bleed) Did you know that Northern EMS now offers a Stop the Bleed Course? We are also able to offer CPR classes through Windber Research Training Institute (WRTI) Call us today to help Save-a-Life

During Cardiovascular Awareness Month (February) we have once again teamed up with Memorial Highway Chevrolet to help those who find themselves having a cardiac event.
