North Versailles Police Department

Reminder to all North Versailles Township residents, your address number is required on the front of your property. They are required to be a minimum of 4 inches tall and viewable from the street. This is to make it easier for our first responders answering calls.

The "Chase Bank" scam has been flooding the Pittsburgh Area over the past few days. Please check your mail thoroughly. If you receive a Chase Bank debit card or checking account card and did not open an account with them, please do the following: 1) Contact Chase Bank at 1-800-935-9935 and advise them the account is fraudulent and to close the account 2) Contact a credit bureau and let them know you are a victim of identity fraud: Experian 1-888-397-3742, TransUnion 1-888-909...-8872, or Equifax 1-800-525-6285 3) You can obtain a free credit report on the following website www.annualcreditreport.com 4) File an online complaint at www.ic3.gov 5) File a report with the police department where you reside. Your information will be forwarded to the United States Secret Service, who along with their task force partners, will be investigating further.

UPDATE: The male has been identified and the property recovered. Thank you. The North Versailles Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred early on Friday, February 5th, 2021. If you recognize the unknown male in the attached video clip, please contact the police department by phone at 412-823-1111 or message us on Facebook. You may remain anonymous.... The structure was unoccupied and under renovations at the time of the crime and there are no known risks to the public regarding this male.

Residents of North Versailles particularly the Green Valley area at this time...PLEASE LOCK YOUR VEHICLES! We are getting reports of multiple vehicles being gone through as they are being left unlocked. If you see anyone suspicious looking through vehicles please contact the police department at 412-823-1111. We have edited this post to include an individual that has been seen on security video going through vehicles. If you or someone you know might know this individual please contact the police department.

You may still redeem your tickets at a rate of $6 this Friday or Saturday at the Haunted Hills from 7pm to 11pm. Get there early! It gets busy on the weekends!
