My name is Wally Brown and I am running for the Trustee position on the Board of Nuova Aurora Society. I have been a member for 47 years and was also an employee of club, when I bartended back in the day when bartenders wore vests and ties! I am currently a real estate agent for Howard Hanna and have been doing real estate for 18 years.... I was the prior Director of Community Relations at the Sister’s of St. Joseph Neighborhood Network for the last 17 years ending in May 2020, where I acted as the liaison with the City of Erie to secure appropriate municipal service. Develop and coordinate low-interest home improvement lending programs; purchase, renovate and market owner-occupied residences. Attend, network with local, regional, state and national meetings, organizations and conferences regarding neighborhood revitalization. Implement neighborhood safety with the installation and service of numerous cameras throughout the Little Italy Area to monitor and reduce crime in the area. Work with Adult and Juvenile Probation Office assigning and supervising people for community service hours all for Erie’s Little Italy Area. I currently serve as the Neighborhood Watch Coordinator for Erie’s Little Italy Area. Please consider voting for me as Trustee.

Amanda Will I am Amanda Will and I am running for Trustee. I am an employee of the Erie Public Schools and serve as a Mental Health Liaison for the district. I have a successful practice where I am a LPC and serve people in need. I am a mom of three daughters who enjoy dining at the club on Friday evenings. My grandfather, Peppers Joe DiNicola,served on the board and was an active member for many years and would always bring me to the club so it is a sense of home for me. I want to be a part of the club’s new feel and be on a team that will support the members but adhere to the guidelines set for us. I hope to gain your vote!

Ann Chido I am asking for your support as I run for a position on the Board of Directors. My husband and I have three daughters and run a small business in downtown Erie. I was born and raised in little Italy. I grew up at the Nuova Aurora, helping my dad, David Marnella as he was the bowling alley manager for years. As a member of the society I enjoy bowling and playing bocce. Although, I mostly enjoy meeting with my friends and family. I believe that I am uniquely qualif...ied to serve on the Board because of my background in business acumen and my passion for serving my community. The Nuova Aurora is like home to me and I would like to uphold the traditions that make our club special as we move forward and grow for the next generations of members. Rick Iadeluca Graduated from Cathedral Prep in 1979 PASP Corporal (retired) Ran the family business Wicks n Sticks for many years VP of The Blue Knights - motorcycle club that supports Charity events for military, police, firefighters, etc Organizes rides to honor charities and individuals - recently held the Black and Blue Ride in support of law enforcement. Theresa NeCastro-Ferraro I am respectfully asking for your vote on December 13th for the position of Trustee. My background is in accounting and I have worked closely with Phyllis for the past several years on administrative operations. This includes preparing financial reports, payroll, reconciling the accounts and tax returns. Currently I am in the position of interim manager of the club which will be finished by year end as I am training some of our girls to take over. I have served on the board in prior years and enjoyed working with them, participating in board decisions and working as a team which is most important. CHANGES COMING TO NUOVA AURORA Due to the ever-changing guidance from the State and Federal Government concerning operations navigating the Covid-19 virus the following take effective immediately: - The wearing of masks is Absolutely Mandatory unless seated at your table.... - Full patio seating will remain available. - The club will only serve drinks and seat those at tables who are ordering food. Food orders will precede drink orders. - Special items are being added to the menu. - All drinks and gambling tickets must be purchased from a server while seated at a table. Only servers and staff are permitted at bar. - The daily drawing will continue. Those wishing to sign may come and sign and not stay if they choose. - Limited dining room seating will continue. We appreciate your understanding during these trying times and your Board of Directors and COVID-19 Team are doing their best to keep the club open and functioning under all regulations, while trying to satisfy the membership in all ways possible. Awesome calzone made at the Nuova Aurora Society new kitchen!

Welcome Back Everyone! We are still in transition going into green but starting this Wednesday our dining room will open up as well. You will still purchase your drinks at the outside bar or through your server . Friday night DJ Lex is in the house from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.... We are re-starting our daily up again from where it left off beginning this Friday at 4pm. We will draw the number approximately at 9:45pm during our current business hours. Our current business hours are: Wed. thru Fri. 4:00pm to 10:00pm and Sat. from 12:00pm to 10:00pm. Kitchen hours are 4:00pm to 9:00pm Wed. thru Sat. for now. PLEASE ALSO REMEMBER that you must wear a mask in the club at all times expect while you are sitting at your table.
