The outage is, allegedly (and most likely), caused by a ransomware attack. We, at NXT Computers, have helped many businesses ...and individuals recover from those over the years. The best remedy, however, is prevention. We strongly urge everyone to be prepared before disaster strikes. What can a ransomware attack do to you? It will encrypt ALL data on your computer or home/business network and render your computer(s) unusable. You stand to lose every single piece of data, such as pictures, documents, music, and more. The only way to get those back would be to pay the criminals a hefty ransom. How does one get infected? Usually it’s via a fake email but also via clicking on an infected ad or link on the web. How do you protect yourself? MAKE BACKUPS! Make sure you have all your data backed up. Always. If you drop off a PC, Mac, or laptop for recycling, you will receive a 25% off labor coupon towards future services. The brand or age of the recycled computer does not matter. It must be a complete desktop tower without missing parts or a complete laptop computer without missing parts. The coupon can be applied towards future computer re...pairs.
