We are saddened to hear of the loss of Vigil Honor Brother Neil McGinley. Neil was an active member in our Lodge in the 1990s and early 2000s where he served as Lodge Ceremonies Adviser for many years. We will remember his hard work and dedication to enhancing our Ceremonies Teams. We are thinking of his family during this difficult time. We are VERY excited to CONGRATULATE John Gasink (originally from Stroudsburg, PA) as one of only 53 Arrowmen across the Nation to be selected for the OA Distinguished Service Award! John was an extremely active member in our Lodge until 2001 when he moved to Virginia. He is a Vigil Honor member from 1991 and also served as the first Chapter Adviser for Pokawachne Chapter. On the National level, John has served on NOAC staff for decades where he is an instrumental member of the OA Shows team who run the evening arena shows at the National OA Conference. Awarded to less than 1100 Arrowmen since its inception in 1940, this prestigious award is given for outstanding service on a National level in the Order of the Arrow.
