Battalion 14 assisted OLPD and Station 15 providing a command post for search operations for a lost child on Dunkard Church Road in Hepburn Twp. The child was found unharmed and units cleared the scene at 1230.

Our officers and members have been out overnight and this morning due to localized flooding in the township. However we still want to wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas from all of us at Station 14.

As we finish out Christmas shopping today and wrap them for Santa, please have a safe and low stress day from all of us at Station 14.

Since before the storm, your local first responders have been working to keep their stations open and have asked for your help to clean 3 feet around your local hydrant. This Saturday morning, our members will be out trying to clear the hydrants that are still buried. Please give them an hand and clear 3 feet of space around your closest hydrant. You and your neighbors will be safer for it!

Now that the storm is over, please check on and help your elderly neighbors. Also if you have wall exhausts for your heating system, check to be sure they are clear. Neighbors helping Neighbors is so important right now!

The officers and members of the Old Lycoming Twp Volunteer Fire Company honor the life and legacy of Life Member Lou Hunsinger Sr. Lou was an exceptional public servant to the City of Williamsport and to Old Lycoming Township for decades. We will miss his wit, wisdom and leadership in the company. Those that visited our Fish Fry's will miss Lou greeting them at the door and thanking them for supporting us. Lou truly exemplified the statement "they just do not make them like that anymore"!
