COVID-19 UPDATE: On Thursday, March 19th, Governor Tom Wolf issued an Order closing all non-life-sustaining businesses in Pennsylvania, which was effective as of 8:00 pm on March 19th. Initially, it was our interpretation that this included the real estate title and settlement industry. Upon further review, Pennsylvania’s government website states that the list of life sustaining businesses under the Governor’s Order is consistent with guidance on Essential Critical Infrast...ructure issued by the Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency advisory. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s website and a Memorandum issued by the United States Department of Treasury refer to workers who are needed to process and maintain systems for processing financial transactions and services, such as payment, clearing and settlement services, wholesale funding, insurance services, and capital markets activities; to provide consumer access to banking and lending services support financial operations and, key third party providers who deliver core services. Therefore, after much consideration, A Plus Settlement Services, Inc., in an effort to continue to provide excellent customer service to our clients and professional partners, has made the decision to continue operations, which includes conducting real estate closings. However, having said that, effective immediately and until further notice, we are implementing procedures in accordance with the guidelines outlined by the CDC. A copy of our COVID-19 Settlement Procedures Plan (SPP) is available upon request. In addition to adherence to our SPP, we will require all parties attending closing to sign and return a waiver prior to closing. A copy of the waiver is available upon request. As long as all parties to the transaction, including the Lender (if applicable), can comply with our SPP, we will resume conducting closings as of Monday, March 30th. We will continue to keep our offices closed to the general public, except for accommodation of closings. Our staff will continue to work remotely and will be available by email and phone to answer questions. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING AS WE NAVIGATE THIS UNPRECEDENTED WORLD CRISIS! GOD BLESS!

IN ORDER TO COMPLY WITH GOV. WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL THE ORDER IS LIFTED. Our staff will be working remotely and will be available by email and phone to answer your questions. We will, of course, continue to process all existing and incoming orders to the extent possible; however, our current interpretation of Gov. Wolf's order is that we will not be able to conduct closings. If we receive clarification to the contrary, we will let you know. We sincerely apologize, but this is out of our control. Please pray for our State leaders, our President and our Country as we navigate this unprecedented, life-altering event. UPDATE: MARCH 19, 2020... We continue to monitor the situation on a day-to-day basis. As of noon on Thursday, March 19th, we are continuing to operate as close to normal as possible. As long as we are able to complete title searches and record documents in the Counties we do business in, we will continue to close transactions. We will keep you updated as the situation changes. Please stay safe, be smart and, to the extent possible, practice the "social-distancing" recommendations that have been presented by the CDC.
