We're back TONIGHT!
Big thanks to Matt for last night's screening of the 1990 practical FX sci-fi joyride METAMORPHOSIS: THE ALIEN FACTOR! And for those who missed it, here's the upcoming screening schedule through early July, we're back on February 7!
The first meeting of 2022 is tonight! Doors at 7:00, proof of full vaccination and masks are required.
We're going to give the watch party another try this coming Monday, event page below. In the meantime, let's all remember a non-quarantined, less digital age of going to the local TLA Video stores for our psychotronic needs... April 6 watch party: https://www.facebook.com/events/218320279407752/
Tomorrow night at The Trestle Inn! We'll be watching an obscure, super fun music-filled oddity...
Yes, this is the lead of the 1992 PPFS favorite SECOND GLANCE (Jesus, man!) now starring in a John Wick-styled Christian film. BTW, hope everyone is well, I'm hopeful that we'll be able to start in-person PPFS meetings again in the coming months and will hopefully be able to celebrate our fifth anniversary with a special Schlockademy Awards show in April. Stay tuned!

THE FACE WITH TWO LEFT FEET (1979) Screened 3/4/20

The films we watched at Philly's hippest go-go bar during our temporary move from PhilaMOCA.
Last night we watched 1967's THE BORN LOSERS, the first film featuring Billy Jack, the greatest of all heroes.
TONIGHT at 8:00 PM! $5 admission, happy hour runs until 8. Again, strong content warning for tonight's film, which is an American independent/exploitation classic.
This Wednesday! One of my all-time favorites that features one of American cinema's greatest heroes. FRIENDLY WARNING: it contains scenes of sexual violence.
My personal (and autographed) theatrical poster for last week's film, Nobuhiko Obayashi's THE DRIFTING CLASSROOM. I'll admit that the poster is way better than the film. Next Wednesday at The Trestle Inn we're going to watch a true American classic, one of my favorite films, don't miss it!
