Greetings Scouts & Scouters! Our reason for writing is three-fold. First and foremost, please accept our gratitude and sincere thanks on behalf of The Philadelphia Encampment Staff and the Cradle of Liberty Council, BSA, for your participation in this year’s event. Scouting is alive and well in the Philadelphia area and your dedication to the movement, its ideals, and the youth of our communities, ensures that it will continue strengthen and grow. ... Second, we value your opinion. In our continued effort to develop The Philadelphia Encampment into an event that anticipates and meets the needs of our Units, we maintain the belief that your input is critical. To that end, we have created a short survey that we request you complete at your earliest convenience; your voice will ensure that The 4th Annual Philadelphia Encampment is unique, dynamic, and relevant to the world in which we live. Please feel free to also forward this link to your Assistant Scoutmasters and Senior Patrol Leaders so they can give us their opinion as well. https://docs.google.com//1pqNcsh5hj63Rg2HbexYH5a3/viewform Third, please mark your calendar! The Philadelphia Encampment will return to Lighthouse Field, October 14-16, 2016, and we hope that your Unit will join us! Be sure to follow us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/PhillyEncampment) and on the Cradle of Liberty Council website (www.colbsa.org/Phila) for the latest news and information. As always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please let us know!

I would like to give a huge shout out to all the people who worked so hard to make this an amazing event. Troop 120 was there for the weekend and had a great time. A lot of work goes into this event by a lot of people, so we hung around yesterday to help lighten the load of cleaning up. I'm glad we got to be a part of it from start to finish.
