Pineapple Cottage Designs 22.11.2020

http://phillyupcycle.pgtb.me/XFXXH6 Thanks to The Philly Home Show and The Philadelphia Habitat for Humanity ReStore for inviting me (Pineapple Cottage Designs) to participate for my 5th year in their 2018 Upcycle Design Challenge happening now at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This year's theme, Urban Jungle required that each designer make creations using a window from the Philadelphia Habitat For Humanity ReStore. I picked a half moon shaped window & found a console... table in a repeating shape. I added a variety of other elements to create my version of a nighttime cityscape! My idea of an urban jungle! The urban gardens in the foreground all contain cacti/succulent plants donated by Primex Garden Center in Glenside, PA. Voting starts now... Check out all the entries & vote daily for your favorite by clicking the link below! Check in with me here daily for my before, & work-in-progress pictures which I will be posting! I'm so happy to report that I won this year's Habitat for Humanity (Philadelphia) Upcycle Design Challenge!!! I'd like to send out a HUGE heartfelt thanks to all the people that took the time to vote for my "Urban Jungle" both at The Home Show & on here! It means so much to me!!! In addition, I have also heard that my entry did well in the silent auction that runs during the show... That money goes back to Habitat for Humanity... And for me, that's the real win!!! Thank you all & may whoever was the silent auction winner enjoy my piece!!!

I finally found out the results of the Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia 2015 Upcycle challenge at the Philadelphia Home Show.... In the combined voting, both at the show & on Facebook, I came in exactly in the middle out of 11 participants. However, my entry got the HIGHEST bid in the silent auction which ran for the duration of the show!!! SO... That means $225.00 goes directly to Habitat for Humanity!!! To me... That's a BIG win!! And that bidder is having my entry shipped to San Diego, California!!! Thank you to whoever you are & Enjoy! To everyone who diligently voted for me throughout, I so appreciate it! Thanks so much, Kristin
