And that’s a wrap!! We are officially closed for the season. I really wanted to stay open just one more day, but we are out of so many items, and I couldn’t stand to see the heart break on your faces when we didn’t have what you wanted. We will be back fresh in April with fully stocked shelves!! I can’t thank you all enough for the support you have shown us this year. I will never forget it. Although I opted to keep the indoor dining closed (which obviously impacted food sal...es), you kept us afloat by eating lots of ice cream. And for that, I’m grateful. Thank you for your patronage during this crazy year, and thank you for your patience with us- especially with our younger staff. Seasonal businesses often don’t have the luxury of keeping experienced staff year after year, but I’m so proud of mine. For me, one of the most rewarding parts of my job is watching these kids enter the work force and watching their work ethic grow. We don’t micromanage them; we guide them. I love watching them find ways to help the business on their own. I think it’s the best way to learn and to grow as a person. When it is their time to leave me, I’m so proud of the work ethic they have developed. So when they mess up, and they do, thank you for not crushing their spirits. Thank you for being kind and understanding and showing them what respectful adults are. I love this community, and I can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces INSIDE next year!

Just made a fresh batch of no bake cookies this morning for today’s special- the No Bake Cookie Sundae! Vanilla ice cream, peanut butter topping, and no bake cookies

Some of you didn’t get to say a proper goodbye to the pumpkin ice cream for the season, so I got one last tub! We also made one last batch of apple cobbler for the year since we have had so many requests for it! Come and get it Closing for the season on October 12th!

Although the Apple Cider Festival was cancelled this year, many of the booths and activities will still be available that day- just not all in one place. If that interests you, this Sunday would be a great time to take a drive around the lake! And what trip to Glendale would be complete without ice cream from the Cove?? Come check it out!

Ok guys, we’re ready! BOTH special sundaes are back for the weekend. I feel like I have a ridiculous amount of supplies for them, but I don’t know for sure how long they will last. I’m hoping to make it all weekend with both sundaes in stock, but I can’t make any promises! It looks like the perfect ice cream weekend! What was meant to be a small Monday ice cream special, really escalated! I hear you loud and clear. You want the monkey bread sundae back!!
