Hello world!!! #birth #birthphotographer #pittsburghbirthphotographer #birthbecomesyou
Who knows where I am?!?
I give to you the greatest baby foot birth photo ever captured!!!! But seriously it’s one of my favorites in this recent birth story . #impossiblebabyfeet #birth #newbornphotography #birthbecomesyou #pittsburghbirthphotographer
I love working over and over again with families. Each story completely different. Every time equally beautiful. Question: what position(s) did you deliver your baby in? It’s common to deliver in a hospital setting on your back, especially as a first time mom, but we often see our second time+ birthers feel best on hands and knees or other more unique positions!... #birthstories #pittsburghbirthphotographer #midwives #birthinginapandemic #birth #reallife
First snow here in the Burgh! You see tree branches but we see the veins of a placenta
I love love love tiny details in birth. This find on the nursery bookshelf made me smile so big. This Amazing Dad and Magical Mom were in the room right next door working together to bring the sweet little owner of these books into the world. How precious is that!?
Hey! It's me, Kate. I love doing themed minis over at Bluebird Photos Are you considering holiday minis this year!? Come over and tell me your thoughts!
This is me literally editing client photos in my car while my child is doing music class #myweirdlife #birthphotographer
Please take the time to read and sign! This petition was started by a local doula. We are taking this global pandemic VERY seriously. We also believe that doulas are essential to a birthing family. We are not some random friend or grandma as a second support person. We are birth professionals. We can go into UPMC but no AHN hospitals. There has been no adverse effect of doulas being allowed into The Midwife Center or any of the UPMC facilities with COVID-19. Its easy to take things away, 10x harder to get things back. Let your voices be HEARD and please share with any Allegheny Health Network families, especially West Penn and Jefferson Hospital!
Miss our big Facebook Live debut last night for The Midwife Center? That's okay! You can watch it here starting around 12 minutes in. We love supporting our free-standing birthing center here in Pittsburgh because they offer top of the line health care to families. Their mission is clear and united. Every single midwife, nurse, administrator or any other staff Kate and I have interacted with at The Midwife Center has a deep genuine passion for this important work. Thanks for having us on!
