A year ago today, Pittsburgh and the world lost rapper Mac Miller. That week, fans remembered him at Blue Slide Park for a vigil. Legends Never Die. We miss you, Mac.

Welcome to the first official ‘Pylon Pics’ for Pittsburgh City Paper featuring my favorite images from this week’s Pittsburgh Steelers game against the Kansas City Chiefs. In it I talk about some of my featured images, including James Conner’s tribute to Mac Miller. Come check it out and give it a share if you like what you see! And feel free to offer any critiques or let me know what you’d like to see and hear about in future Pylon Pics galleries. ... Thanks all! https://t.co/Jil7TPr3K4?amp=1

It’s been an incredibly emotional week here in Pittsburgh. Jimmy Wopo, an incredibly successful and thoughtful rapper who was on the cusp of entering his first major tour was killed in the Hill District, immediately followed the next day by the death of 17 year old Antwon Rose Jr in East Pittsburgh. Families are already being separated from one another at our borders, yet our local communities are also being torn apart as well from unnecessary gun violence. I continue to cover these protests and events that bring awareness because there clearly still exists a disconnect and a lack of understanding with so many. Pictures are my voice and I’ll continue to tell these stories that matter, hoping that creates some kind of change within those who can’t be reached in other forms. #AntwonRose On assignment for Pittsburgh City Paper
Photographed this incredible home with my friend Nathan Andrew Parente! Top of the hill in Upper Lawrenceville with killer views of the city skyline. Contact Jesse Wig of Lifespace for a tour. https://lifespacepittsburgh.com/wickliff-street-lawre/.html
