On April 24th, Officer Kristin Mitrisin of the Pleasant Hills Police Department saved the life of a 9-day-old baby who was unable to breathe by performing roads...ide CPR and then driving the child to the hospital. This evening I presented a citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to Officer Mitrisin in recognition of her selfless act. Thank you Officer Mitrisin for your heroism! The Borough of Pleasant Hills wants to publicly acknowledge and extend its gratitude to Sergeant James A. Lauso for showing dedication, compassion and quick thinking when he encountered an unresponsive individual in a motor vehicle last month. He was able to stop the vehicle and administer CPR to the driver. Sergeant Lauso's actions avoided a tragic outcome to a very dangerous situation.

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO PLEASANT HILLS! The Pleasant Hills Police Department along with the Pleasant Hills Volunteer Fire Company and Baldwin E.M.S. are bringing Santa to town! On Saturday, December 5, 2020 starting at 12:00 NOON, Santa will be visiting Pleasant Hills by fire truck.
