Moderated by PLSE co-founder Ryan Allen Hancock, Esq., panelists include: Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman, who commissioned the reports and chairs the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons; Representative Joanna McClinton, Esq., House Democratic Leader and Representative of the 191...st District; Lisette "Mimi" McCormick, Esq., Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Interbranch Commission for Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Fairness; and Shawn Bushway, PhD, Senior Policy Researcher at RAND Corporation. The presentation will include a brief presentation on PLSE's reports by author and Lead Investigator and Mitigation Specialist Andrea Lindsay, MSW, as well as a Q&A session facilitated by co-author and Data Analyst Clara Rawlings. The Eviction Diversion Program implements the Emergency Housing Protection Act (EPHA) passed by City Council and signed by Mayor Kenney. The act requires Landlords to notify tenants of their rights under the EHPA and to request a mediation conference through the Eviction Diversion Program prior to filing an eviction.
