In-Church Service 5-16-21

It is with great joy that I announce: Point Pleasant Community Baptist Church will resume in-person worship, in the sanctuary, on May 16th. After reviewing the latest public health guidance, and taking into consideration the increasing vaccination rates in Bucks County and among our congregation, the Deacons and I determined that in-person worship services could now resume with some degree of safety. ... Things won’t look exactly like they did before the pandemic (but what does, these days?). For example: Masks and physical distancing will be required. The service will be a little shorter. You might not be able to sit in your usual pew. We will not be gathering for Linger Longer or other fellowship times. Butwe will be worshipping together in person, in the sanctuary. And that is something to look forward to and something to give thanks for! For those who are not yet ready to return to in-person worship, the pastor’s message will continue to be posted on Facebook each week. Please be patient as we figure out the logistics of this, including when the message will be posted. For those who are ready (or more than ready) to return to the sanctuary, please see the Covenant of Participation elsewhere in this newsletter for the guidelines for the in-person services.
