***Fundraiser Alert*** On Sunday, May 30th, we have organized another Boot Drive. Funds raised by this drive will be for the sole use of equipping our dive team. Did you know that the average cost to equip a single diver is approximately $4,000? We currently have 15 fully equipped divers and are looking at the possibility of adding more. ... Fundraisers, large and small, are used to pay this cost rather than burden taxpayers with higher taxes. We took an oath to protect you, and we take that oath seriously. Countless hours have been dedicated to training by our dive team, and we will continue to provide this as a necessary service to our residents. Come out and help support a great cause! #PVFD #scubasteve #ifitslostwewillfindit #OneTeamOneMission

It isn't often that someone comes into your life throughout your career that you stop and think: "Now there is someone that has seen it all." Nick Vay was that guy for many of us throughout the Mon Valley. Sadly, Nick has gone on to join his loving wife, Dot (who was a force to be reckoned with in her own right.). Never have I witnessed a greater love for their community than the love that Nick had for Lincoln Borough. Over 60 years of selfless service as a Firefighter, Fi...re Chief, Police Chief, Road Crew, Mayor. Let that sink in and be a lesson to our generation. Rest in Eternal Peace, Chief. You have earned it. On behalf of all of us at Station 237, we will take it from here. Visitation is at Gilbert Funeral Home in Boston on Thursday May 20th from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Mass will be at St Marks/Eugene's in Liberty Boro Friday May 21st at 11:00am with a procession and burial at Mount Vernon Cemetery.

***Notice to All of Port Vue *** Santa will be out cruising the Borough on the Big Blue Firetruck THIS SATURDAY December 12th (2020) from 9AM to 1PM. To adhere to the enforcements and restrictions put in place by Governor Wolf Unfortunately Santa will only be riding through the borough, stopping and waving. There will be no contact or candy being passed out this year to remain in compliance with CDC recommendations and to keep everyone safe.... Please understand this is not our decision and we are only trying to adapt and adhere to the guidelines set in place that we must follow, and still bring Santa around for the children in our borough to see. We will make every attempt to see each and every child throughout the borough as always. We will also proceed as slow as possible, to ensure each child is able to wave and say hi to Santa. We look forward to bringing Santa on his visit this year and hope to see everyone bright and early on Saturday. Thank you all for your continued support....
