Dr. Andrew Awad was born in Cairo, Egypt, but was raised in the state of Texas. After completing his Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology and Health, he came to the beautiful state of Pennsylvania to start at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He continued his training through a General Practice Residency at St. Luke's University Hospital, and is passionate about continuous learning and using the latest in evidence based practice. I love my profession be...cause I get to partner with patients in changing how they can experience the dentist and arrive at a healthy mouth. My goal is to use minimally-invasive dentistry and education to help patients smile confidently and without pain. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Awad enjoys playing basketball, fishing, reading, and serving at his church and in the community.
