Apply Now: https://pm.healthcaresource.com/cs/srcare#/job/5509 Position Summary The Supervisor is a Licensed Registered Nurse whose function is to monitor and provide quality care and services to residents for an entire shift. This individual is to assume responsibility for his/her healthcare delivery and to supervise and oversee the work of professional and non-professional employees throughout the facility. The Supervisor has shift responsibility for the provision of care throughout the facility. Supervisory Responsibilities - Entire building personnel on his/her shift in the absence of the RN Neighborhood Manager, Director of Nursing/Assistant Director of Nursing Essential Duties and Responsibilities - In the absence of the Director of Nursing/Assistant Director of Nursing, acts to ensure quality resident care and manages the facility; receives or obtains preceding shift report. - Makes daily rounds to observe and evaluate residents’ physical and emotional status and to ensure continuing quality resident care. - Supports Charge Nurses/Team Leaders by assisting with resident transfers, deaths, admissions, care, and falls or other incidents. - Assures all occurrences are reported to appropriate persons (physician, family, nursing administration) as per facility policy. - As directed by the Manager, participates in the Rounding for Outcomes process on a daily basis with residents, families and staff. Results of "Rounding" activity are communicated to the appropriate manager. - As directed by the Manager, monitors coaching plans for select staff. Education and/or Experience - Graduate of approved Registered Nurse School of Nursing. - Two years supervisory experience or one year long-term care experience in a licensed position. Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Possession of a valid RN license issued by the State of Pennsylvania. - Maintain CPR certification per policy. * Photos were taken before the COVID-19 pandemic and masking and social distancing were a requirement.
