Proposal/Request Submitted to NGS The Geospatial Committee, at the direction of the Pennsylvania Society‘s of Land Surveyors’ Board of Directors, has solicited and reviewed Member input, considered NGS options, and corresponded with Statewide Geospatial Practitioners (stakeholders) regarding the modernization of the National Spatial Reference System (NSRS) and the implementation of the NGS 2022 datum. The Committee diligently formulated and submitted to NGS Pennsylvania’s Req...uest/Proposal associated with the State Plane Coordinate System of 2022. "The Request/Proposal will provide for one zone covering the entire Commonwealth as the first layer and four/five zones providing for lower distortion as the second layer.
