Liberation There is no right way to be queers or trans. We practice radical acceptance and encourage people to come as they are to our spaces, knowing queerness can look different for everyone. Add them to your signature, business cards, name tags, etc. Remember to always address someone by their pronouns, if they’ve shared them with you. If you don’t know, ask, but don’t always expect an answer. If they don’t feel comfortable sharing, don’t prycall them by their name. If you mess up, apologize and commit to doing better. Trans liberation now. This really sums up the demands of the 10th annual Philly Trans March. Marching through in North felt needed. Going to hunting park and learning why that park is named that. It’s named for the hunting grounds it used to be for Lenape people. The speakers were amazing. The organizers did so much great work. The pain and joy felt during the protest was real. Also when we fight for black trans women we fight for all trans folx.
