Our 2021 Great Decisions group culminated today with a special luncheon for participants and facilitators. Sister Margaret Pavluchuk spoke about her recent experience at the CA border as part of a group sponsored by Catholic Charities in which volunteers assisted immigrants being processed for travel to join US relatives. Sherry Cameron shared her experience volunteering in a squatters community outside Lima, Peru. L-R in photo are Eloise Schrier, Sister Margaret Pavluchuk, Linda Capozello, and Sherry Cameron. #GreatDecisions, America’s largest discussion program on world affairs, is held each spring at RPL and 6 other locations in Berks.
