Reading's Christmas on the Mountain

Christmas on the Mountain reluctantly sits out 2020 The organizers have decided making a run at opening for 2020 was impossible given the current restrictions and potential liability. Reading, PA - November 5th, 2020: Every Christmas season for 28 years the Hillside Playground has been transformed (located on North 14th street in the city of Reading) into a Christmas Wonderland. It has become affectionately known as Christmas on the Mountain. 2020 would have marked Christmas... on the Mountains 29th season. This has been beyond a difficult decision to make. It is truly the highlight of my year when we organize the display each Christmas season. This would have marked my 5th year since we stepped in an renovated the display, and we had planned for a recorded setting season. We certainly were not expecting a 2020 like this, something I guess all of us could say. After a lot of consideration, we have collectively come to decision not to open for this year. We know it is the correct decision for our organization, but it doesn’t mean we have to like it. said Tim Profit Although you will not be able to visit this season. You certainly have not seen the last of Reading’s Christmas on the Mountain. We have turned our attention and focus to Christmas season 2021 with the intention to expand our footprint even larger.
