Vivienne, age 7 She desired purple hair!! I’m pro-freaky, but she’s young, and I don’t condone the use of chemicals on folks who haven’t hit puberty yet. Therefore, Vivi got some sweet fusion extensions to try out!!!! We did one purple and one blue so she could sample. We may end up putting a few more in after we see how she does with the maintenance. They are easy to brush and style and don’t matt together. Today’s hair extension transformation!!!! Her natural hair is a shoulder length dark brown bob - now she’s a beige mermaid!! Long and wavy highlights and lowlights extended over a beige base color. Installation took 5 hours - that included a little lunch break. Cost of approx $1000, divided in two payments. Will last approximately 4-5 months with next to no maintenance. Amy got locks over the summer. They were teased and twisted and not installed correctly. They were harboring mold and mildew because of lack of post-care maintenance knowledge. They were compromising her scalp health. She was experiencing sores and folliculitis and decided to see what her options were. She figured she’d have to shave her head. I saved roughly 3 inches of her hair as I gently removed her locks. A week later; I was able to reinstall a head of hair almost exa...ctly like her own. She doesn’t have to shave her head and her natural hair is protected as it reflourishes. My extension process uses real keratin bonds. No resins. No glues. Just keratin. What your hair is made of. So they are removed with no damage. When they’ve run their course, we dissolve them. Lock removal took 3 hours. Base color refresh took another hour. Reinstallarion of new hair took approx 6 hours. Cutting and blending of the new long hair into the natural short hair took another hour. This makeover service required heavy man-hours and resulted in a cost of about $1750. It will last, maintenance-free for about 4-6 months. Someone got an entire new head of hair today after an unfortunate struggle with a misinstalled head of twisted locks. I preserved 3 inches of her hair off the scalp, so she didn’t have to SHAVE it all off. Then I installed an entire new head of hair on her. STAY TUNED FOR THE BEFORES AND AFTERS!!!!!! this is a work in progress.
